American startup Eco-dynamic Tech has unveiled its colorful awning with solar panels for motorhomes. The awning, named Artpiece, not only generates a significant amount of power but also provides some shade during hot summer days.
The awning features flexible heterojunction cells, and both sides of the panel absorb light to generate electricity.
The manufacturers recommend combining the awning with some form of battery storage to have power even at night.
Currently, this awning is only available for purchase in the United States, and the first deliveries are expected by the end of the year. The price tag is currently set at $2,999.
